- This agency proposes to issue a solicitation against a long-term strategic/sole source contract, which will include one (1) National Stock Number (NSN) in support of the CH-47 Chinook helicopter weapon system. The NSN targeted to be added for this contract effort is NSN: 1680-01-320-1191; Part Number: 145D3300-6; NOUN: SHAFT ASSEMBLY with the following specifications FSC: 1680; NAICS Code: 336413; Number of Employees: 1250; AMRC: 3Q. The required Production Lead is 900 days after contract award. � The proposed sole source action will be issued to Boeing Company, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) code 8V613, and is intended to be on a sole source basis and supported by a Justification and Approval (J&A) memorandum IAW FAR 6.302-1: Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� Items covered by this acquisition and provided by other Boeing Company CAGE codes are as follows: 32562, 022T1, 02731, 1GTA0, 18355, 4PF93, 48D66, 17765, 48T42, 0APX0, 0PXV4, 38YR6, 94756, 18441, 48BM4, 48LF5, 43999, 81205, 82918, 8V613, 76301 and 77272. The proposed requirement will be for a total of five (5) years and for the option ordering periods 6 (Calendar Year 2020), 7 (Calendar Year 2021), 8 (Calendar Year 2022), 9 (Calendar Year 2023), and 10 (Calendar Year 2024). The estimated annual demand is 20 units each for a total of 100. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM.� This is proposed to be a FAR Part 15 effort. NSN 1680-01-320-1191 is the item that has been identified for this current action.� If other NSN(s) are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. This item shall be added to Long Term Contract SPRPA1-14-D-002U. This LTC is a Firm Fixed Price with Price Redetermination and Indefinite Quantity Contract that was awarded to Boeing Company CAGE Code 8V613 and in accordance with the originally approved J&A.� However, the NSN identified here was not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. This contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance, and the design control affecting these parts.
