- Description
- The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to provide sustainment of the Ballard Software Suite. Potential sources must possess the ability to sustain software and/or hardware developed to support the C-130 Graphical User Interface (GUI) C-130 Platform Control ""Ballard Software"". The proposed acquisition strategy is a four (4) year (basic plus three (3) option years) sustainment contract and will continue through FY23. The C-130 Platform Control System's Graphical User Interface ""Ballard Software"" is the mechanism for controlling on board electrical and radio systems in an intuitive manner on the AC-130J. Is designed to support Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms by integrating and combining controls and information from various on board systems into a single multipurpose interface. The software interfaces with external systems are handled via stand-alone server programs running as services on the Ballard computer. The proposed services are required to provide contract engineering support for evaluation, adjustments to correct or upgrade interface requirements, correction of deficiencies, documentation, configuration, training, testing, and fielding of software on the AC-130J Precision Strike Package to sustain the resident software that facilitates the interface control. They will provide instrumentation, data analysis, and SIL support.
