- Sources Sought /Request for Information (RFI) for for EPA Lean Management System (ELMS) Electronic Visual Management Boards This REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) is for market research and planning purposes only and shall not be considered to be an obligation by the Government to acquire any products or services. This market research RFI pertains to a procurement called EPA�s Lean Management System (ELMS) �Electronic Visual Management Boards,� which is also referred to by its internal U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) number EPA_ITAD_ELMS_20_SourcesSought. Any response(s) to this RFI will help the EPA determine whether this procurement should be a small-business set aside or other appropriate method of acquisition. Pursuant to 48 C.F.R. Part 10, the Government is conducting market research to: 1. Determine if Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions exist that can satisfy the Government�s requirements listed in the Draft Statement of Work, 2. Determine the capabilities of potential contractors, 3. Determine the size and status of potential sources, and 4. Determine the level of competition. The market research RFI is the first step in satisfying these requirements. Capability Statements from interested small-business vendors are requested, however, all businesses are welcome to submit a response. (See instructions below). The acquisition strategy is yet to be determined. The anticipated NAICS codes is 511210 � Software Publishers. This NAICS will be reviewed and may change before any solicitation maybe released. Offerors should submit capability statements electronically prior to 3:00 p.m. on the closing date to Cris Ford-Cannon at ford-Cannon.cris@epa.gov. Responses shall include: (1) Name of Company (2) State the respondent�s size status and whether the respondent is registered in 511210 NAICS code. (3) Ownership, including whether: Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Women-Owned, HUBZone, Veteran Owned and/or ServiceDisabled Veteran-Owned Business. (4) Points of contact, including: Name, title, phone, and e-mail address. (5) CAGE Code and DUNS Number. (6) List of COTS products, software and hardware, necessary to deploy and operate the Electronic Visual Management Boards. (7) List any significant configurations necessary for software to work in EPA�s environment, as provided in the Draft SOW. (8) Any significant configurations listed for item 7 above, state whether it is user configurable (accomplished without coding) or does it have to be configured and/or coding must be accomplished by the software provider. Please refer to announcement number EPA_ITAD_ELMS_20_SourcesSought in all correspondence and communications. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible business firms that can provide the product described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition.
