Description

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a request for quote (RFQ) to Fairbanks Morse, LLC, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), for a Firm Fixed-Price contract for repairs to an emergency diesel engine scavenging air blower. This posting serves as a Pre-Solicitation notice in association with N32253-20-EDGBLOWER. A Sources Sought Notice for N32253-20-EDGBLOWER was posted on 18 January 2020: https://beta.sam.gov/opp/01807985a75f40eeba0181d5af2ea74e/view The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310 and a Size Standard of $8M applies to this procurement. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment. Any interested party that believes it can satisfy the requirement may submit a capability statement to the listed Government point of contacts. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) by the award date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2020-02, DFARS DPN20190531, and NMCARS18-09. The Solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or around 27 JAN 2020. Quotes are expected to be due to this office no later than 28 JAN 2020, 1500 HST.
