- Army-Navy Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) at CONEXPO 2020 � Date: 12 March 2020 Time: 9:00 A.M. � 3:00 P.M. (Check-In starts at 9:00 A.M.); will break for lunch (not-provided) Location: Rooms N232/234, Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada � RSVP deadline:� 28 February 2020 Dress: Business Casual Cost: There is NO fee to attend the APBI; however, registration for the Construction Exposition (CONEXPO) is REQUIRED.� If you have not already registered for CONEXPO 2020, click here - �http://registration.experientevent.com/ShowCON201/Flow/ATTENDEE/?marketingcode=USGVT The purpose of this Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) is to provide Industry with insight into Combat Engineer/Material Handling Equipment and set, kits and tools opportunities and technologies being considered and planned for future US Army and US Navy acquisition.� The goal of this forum is to enhance collaboration between Industry and Government and improve industrial base awareness.� Opportunities planned for discussion include a General Overview of US Army and US Navy Combat Engineer/Material Handling Equipment; User Priorities; Rough Terrain Container Handler Service Life Extension Program (SLEP); procurement of aerial lift and derrick digger trucks and cable trailers; procurement of light/medium All Terrain Crane; �just in time� procurement; Government sale of older equipment; and research & development technologies of interest.� This is not a �How-To� procurement event. Space is limited; thus, attendance is limited to two attendees per company. �Additionally, the Government reserves the right to close registration early should space availability present an issue or increase the number of attendees per company if more space becomes available. Determining the useful life of construction and material handling equipment. 11. Family of Utility Support Equipment: (1) Aerial Lift Truck; (2) Digger Derrick Truck; (3) Combination Pole/Reel Trailer; and (4) Cable Handling Trailer. 12. All-Terrain Cranes (25 ton capacity). 13. Fuel monitoring and efficiencies. 14. Rapid Road/Runway Repair attachments for Skid Steer Loaders.
