Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-16-G-0012 with Bell Textron Inc. (BTI) for forward fit and retrofit Swashplate Improvement Kits and procure spare parts from the kits.� Approximately 380 units of the Swashplate Improvement Retrofit Kits will be acquired.� This delivery order will have a base plus four option years to procure the mentioned supplies. � This requirement is being pursued on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.�� BTI is the sole designer, developer and systems integrator of the H-1 series Helicopter.� As such, BTI is the only known responsible source with the knowledge, in-depth experience, technical data, tooling and test equipment required performing this effort within the required schedule.� Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact BTI directly.
