- REQUEST FOR INFORMAITON �Peace Corps Post Logistics & Support Division, Administrative Services COMPOUNDING PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. 1.0����� This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the Peace Corps will take procurement action in this matter.� Further, neither Peace Corps nor the Government will be responsible for any cost incurred in furnishing this information. This RFI is issues solely for information and planning purposes.� It does not constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future.� This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or services whatsoever.� Further, the Peace Corps is not at this time seeking proposal and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party�s expense.� Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.� If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the beta.SAM.gov website.� It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This RFI is being used to gather market research for U.S. Peace Corps to purchase medical supplies and equipment, and pharmaceutical (including controlled substances) to overseas Peace Corps Health Care Units on and as needed when needed basis.� Supplier(s) shall furnish only pharmaceutical products, medical equipment and supplies, and vaccines. 2.0 Background: The Office of Post Logistics and Support Division (PLS) is the main provider of medical supplies and equipment acquisition from U.S vendors and shipping support services; regional office bulk mailing, domestic, international mail and distribution services for Peace Corps staff and Volunteers worldwide.� Overseas Procurement Support Peace Corps is seeking compounding pharmacies to provide and ship pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances.
