- Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled Solicitation for Information of Planning Purpose, this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought/Request for Information (SS/RFI) issued by Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Detachment on behalf of Naval Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS) for the acquisition of Polygraph Services. The Government will consider and analyze all information received; formal responses will not be furnished; however, the information may be utilized in the development of a final PWS and/or Request for Proposal (RFP). This is NOT a notice of solicitation issue. This SS/RFI does not constitute a RFP, nor does this issuance restrict the Government�s acquisition approach. No facsimile responses will be accepted. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this SS/RFI nor will it reimburse for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The Government plans to procure Polygraph services as a Commercial Item as defined in FAR 2.101. The expected NAICS code is 561611 with an expected size standard of $22 million. The expected Federal Supply Code (FSC) is R499. VENDOR RESPONSE Reponses to this Sources Sought/ Request for Information shall be submitted electronically to Jacob Segal at Jacob.Segal@navy.mil by 3:00 PM EST on 14 February 2020. Note: The goal of such feedback is to consider suggestions that might enhance competition, improve the clarity of the requirement, or leverage industry expertise. The draft PWS below is intended to give perspective vendors clarity on the requirement and is not intended as a contract and may change before solicitation release and/or contract award. Part II.
