- N0016420SNB26 � REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT � RADIATION TEST EQUIPMENT � ELECTRON LINEAR ACCELERATOR � FSC 6635 � NAICS 334517 Issue Date: 29 JAN 2020 � Closing Date: 19 FEB 2020 � 2:00 PM EDT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) - The Government is issuing this RFI/Sources Sought Notice as part of market research for a Linear Accelerator (LINAC) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, (NSWC Crane) located at Naval Support Activity (NSA), Crane, Indiana. This RFI/Sources Sought Notice is for the purpose of determining industry sources capable of producing these systems. NSWC Crane is interested in the design and fabrication of a prompt dose rate Linear Accelerator for radiation testing on electronic devices and Integrated Circuits (ICs). NSWC Crane is requesting the following information for planning purposes only and will be used for planning associated budget, schedule, and requirements with our Strategic Program sponsors.� Item 1 � Approximate cost for the design of a LINAC with the proposed technical requirements (Attachment 1).� Technical requirements are not finalized, and adjustments/additions to these requirements are welcomed as final requirements are formulated. Item 2 � Approximate costs for the fabrication of a LINAC with the formulated final technical requirements (Attachment 1). Item 3 -- Notional schedule for the design and fabrication of a LINAC with the final technical requirements and yearly rolled up cost estimates. Responses to this RFI will establish the key performance requirements for the design and fabrication of a LINAC. All interested parties may submit company and product literature, a white paper no longer than 30 pages, and/or other pertinent information, such as a description with performance parameters, production history, estimated completion schedule with projected risks identified, a statement of current availability, summary of prior experience, test reports, draft Statement of work, and a budgetary estimate. The Government may contact RFI respondents to get clarification on the information submitted. The Government does not anticipate providing any formal responses to comments/questions received, but may utilize this information to improve planning and documentation efforts.��� Responses to this market survey shall include the following: Submitter�s Name Street Address, City, State, Zip Code Business Size and CAGE Code POC Telephone Announcement Number:� N0016420SNB26 Responders must be properly registered in the Government�s System for Award Management (SAM) database.� Responders may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation of requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the internet at http://www.sam.gov.
