Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a firm fixed price� purchase order to RavenTek, 13900 Lincoln Park Drive, Herndon, VA� 20171, for the following requirements: 1) Dell PowerEdge R640 Server #1210-AKWU-N, quantity of 1; 2) Dell PowerEdge R540 Server #1210-ALZH-N, quantity of 2. �This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.� Only Dell brand will satisfy the Agency�s requirement because this is the only brand that can provide a custom system build on the specific hardware requirements recommended by the software vendor Starfish.� The servers will house the current installation of Starfish software.� The configurations are enhanced versions that are compatible with the software, firmware and management tools that are already established.� No solicitation is being issued.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency.� A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.� For contractual questions, contact Tiffney Griner-Esslinger @ tesslinger@cdc.gov.
