Description
The Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) partnering with the Army Applications Lab (AAL) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) or 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Capital Factory Properties, LLC Inc. 701 Brazos St STE 500 Austin, TX 78701-3232 to provide meeting space and staff support for the RCCTO Innovation Day on 11-12 February 2020.� The purpose of the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) is to expedite critical capabilities to the field to meet Combatant Commanders� needs. The Office enables the Army to experiment, evolve, and deliver technologies in real time to address both urgent and emerging threats while supporting acquisition reform efforts. The RCCTO executes rapid prototyping and initial equipping of capabilities, particularly in the areas of cyber, electronic warfare, survivability and positioning, navigation and timing (PNT), as well as other priority projects that will enable Soldiers to operate and win in contested environments decisively. This contract will provide meeting space to accommodate up to 200 people to include four (4) separate conference rooms.� The contract will also provide staff support for production and management of Innovation Day activities.� The RCCTO is partnering with AAL because AAL�s mission is to reach out and tap into commercial and start-up innovation to bring technology into Army Futures Command (AFC) and has built relationships in the Austin community.� The Capital Factory is the most mature, centrally located accelerator in Austin, TX with a unique combination of in resident technology related startup companies, a high volume of unique, widely attended entrepreneurial programming, and access to other Texas based innovative organizations, activities, and firms.� This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a base period of performance of two (2) days. The award date is anticipated to be 07 February 2020. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT 06 February 2020 at 12:00 PM EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
