- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to announce that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about February 19, 2020. This RFP will be in response to the NAWCWD North Range and South Range�s requirement for rental and service of forty (40) stand-alone unisex portable toilets and four (4) hand wash stations to be placed at locations designated by the Government on Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake Ranges. On average, 35 units will be in service at a time, with the additional units kept in reserve to be deployed as needed. In addition, the Contractor shall sustain eleven (11) executive restroom trailers. Questions in regards to the requirement or attached Statement of Work (SOW) will be accepted by email until February 11, 2020 at 3:00 PM PST. Due to the location of the work being completed, the RFP will contain some Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI); therefore, it is necessary that Contractors ensure they are certified in the DLIS system prior to the submission of proposals (see details below). REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: The stand-alone unisex portable toilets must meet the following criteria: a. Shall not be more than 10 years� old b. Shall contain hand sanitizer c. Shall contain sanitary seat covers d. Shall contain toilet paper e. Shall be provided with weekly service f. Shall be staked to the ground when deployed due to the possibility of high winds; the stakes shall go no deeper than eighteen inches into the ground. The hand wash stations must meet the following criteria, at a minimum, but not limited to:� a. Shall not be more than 10 years old� b. Shall contain hand soap� c. Shall contain paper towels� d. Shall be staked to the ground when deployed due to the possibility of high winds; the stakes shall go no deeper than eighteen inches into the ground Servicing: The unisex portable toilet units and hand wash stations must be cleaned and restocked on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. And any damaged or malfunctioning unisex portable toilet units and/or hand wash stations must be replaced. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: NAWCWD North Range and South Range. Access to some locations is restricted and some areas may require a 4x4 vehicle.� �
