Description

The USDA Forest Service, Minnesota Shared Services Contracting Unit, Superior National Forest anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. It is the intent of this contract to secure Road and Trail Maintenance Services required for the Chippewa National Forest for a BASE year, with four following option years. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), and incidentals to perform all work necessary. Tasks will consist mostly of small projects such as culvert cleaning, culvert replacement, spot filling, gravel placement, ditch cleaning, bridge repair, road blading, roadside mowing and brushing, gravel crushing, road decommissioning, etc. The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at website beta.SAM.gov known as Contract Opportunities on or about February 20, 2020. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The Government may award one or more contracts as a result of this Request for Proposal.� The resulting contract(s) will be awarded for a base year and four optional years. The not-to-exceed total contract value is $1,000,000. The guaranteed minimum amount for the program is $1,000. NAICS: 237310, the size standard is $36.5Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the USDA Forest Service. Projects will be at multiple locations throughout the Chippewa National Forest
