Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE BRAND NAME ONLY - VAMC RICHMOND, Richmond, Virginia intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for the purchase of an Extended Software Module (BZX Multi-Stack Module) and a Secure License Code (BZX Hardware) to upgrade and activate the Fluorescence Microscope model BZ-X800E. This requirement is intended for award to: Keyence Corporation of America under the authority 6.302-2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICs) for this acquisition is 334516. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 7 days of publication (on/before 10 Feb 2020 at 3 pm EST). A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Questions shall be submitted electronically to nicole.stewart3@va.gov. Verbal and telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
