Description
All CHUs and associated components will be safe, durable, and commercial grade in nature. All equipment will be installed according to the manufacturers� manuals and/or manufacturer standard procedures, complying with local, state and federal regulations. CHUs will be industrial grade, not attached to any existing facility, and capable of housing between 27 and 30 personnel inside the available space, each person getting their own private room. Rooms must have space for and include the following items: 38�W x 82�L x 11H Bed w/ Mattress Nightstands (Laminated 3 Drawers 20�W x 20�D x 25�) Double Wardrobe (42� wide Wardrobe laminated doors) with Shelving kit Rooms will have one usable door and one window. Contractor will provide blackout blinds for the window to allow minimal sunlight in the CHUs. Window will be equipped with a rolling, stiff shutter on the outside of the window with the operating system inside the container.� The glass will be type (tilt and turn) glass that will allow air to flow through when opened inward.� The window will include a permanently fixed mosquito screen.� The size of the window shall be determined by the Contractor. Exterior walls and ceilings will be insulated with R7 form insulation or better within the space available with rigid, material that, in layers, provides maximum insulation value, reduces thermal bridging, and provides minimum 30 minutes of fire resistance. All rooms will be equipped with heating and air conditioning properly designed to fit the needs. There is no need for water or restrooms. Rooms will have an LED light with a switch and an outlet with 2-110V sockets. Rooms will comply with all codes and regulations (especially fire protection safety). A sample sketch can be seen in attachment B, but is up to the contractor to propose their best solution. Each containerized facility shall be equipped with a fire detector with audible alarm/warning sound of the detector must be heard throughout the container and detectable above any HVAC or other equipment operating nearby.
