- Notice of Intent to Limit Sources Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, VISN 10 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source delivery order from FSS Contract 36F79718D0330 under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), supplies are unique and highly specialized for the following items listed below.� The associated NAICS code for this is 334510. The vendor will be Natus Medical, Inc; 6701 Koll Center Parkway, Suite 120, Pleasanton CA, 11292-5144. � Description of equipment requirements: NCS/EEG/EP portable system with 4 channel input, internal electrical stimulator, temperature monitor input, USB communication cable, foot switch, USB printer, DVD-RW archiving, high quality audio and speakers for EEG, auditory stimulation with suitable headphones, stimulator probe with remote control and both direct contacts and electrode connectors, adjustable amplifier arm for headbox, software for analysis and report generation for NCS (MNC, SNC, ANS, F-waves, H-waves, blink reflexes, repetitive stim signal enhancer), EEG (spontaneous EEG, max voluntary EEG, quantitative EEG, interference pattern analysis, EEG storage and replay), and 3 modality EP (somatosensory EP, auditory EP, visual EP). Report software includes Microsoft Word. Cart for system and printer and Ethernet interface. requires four channels of input, including tibial nerve sensory evoked potentials, analysis of hemifacial spasm, spread of spinal myoclonus and analysis of co-contraction of muscles in stiff person syndrome. The VikingQuest system combines a four-channel acquisition system with the other required features, which increases positive patient outcomes. A firm fixed price delivery order with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded.� It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement.� It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. � This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� It is not a solicitation or request for offers.� No solicitation package is available.� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.� Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
