Description
This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Subpart 8.4 Federal Supply Schedules, FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - one responsible source.�� The applicable NAICS Code is 511210.� The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) � Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA intends to award a sole source contract to: Analytical Graphics, Inc 220 Valley Creek Blvd. Exton, PA 19341� The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" This requirement is for renewal of System Tool Kit (STK) software. STK is a complex simulation tool for air, ground, and space that is heavely utilized by OPS analyst. This is an invaluable software tool for studies that support the Marine in combat zones. The requirement is for renewal of the maintenance and support� contract of current STK products on both the classified and unclasiffied machines. The anticipated contract is for a period of performance from 01 April 2020 through 31 March 2021.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to eileen.rivera@usmc.mil no later than 17 Febraury 2020, 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.� Late responses will not be considered.
