- This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for new diesel engine model 4TNV84T-DFM, 4 cylinder, 2.0 liter, NSN: 2815-01-538-4257, P/N: 97-24004, CAGE: 30554 U/O the 15 kW Tactical Quiet Generators (TQG) MEP-814A (400Hz) and MEP-814B (400Hz). The current source for the diesel engine is Yanmar Diesel America Corp., CAGE A0K42. Configuration drawings are available. Detailed technical data for the manufacture of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers or distributors capable of furnishing these assemblies must so indicate, by writing to Commander, US Army CCDC C5ISR, ATTN: FCDD-ISP-GE, Building 6001, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD 21005 or by email to: brian.m.carroll22.civ@mail.mil or adam.f.zetts.ctr@usa.army.mil. The response must include product lead time, price break ranges if applicable, other relative information that may impact acquisition, supply or delivery, vendor name, CAGE, address, company representative, Tel/fax#, and applicable email address. The successful supplier shall be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Provide Contract Number, Point of Contact (POC), e-mail address, phone number, and a brief description of your direct support of the effort. � � Describe the qualifications of your engineering staff, who have experience in the design and production of application similar in complexity and technology to the diesel engine. � Describe your company�s experience in identifying the test equipment for components similar in complexity and technology to what is used in the diesel engine. � Describe your company�s experience in managing obsolescence issues. � Does your company maintain a Program and Assessment Tool to monitor and analyze the availability of components to allow clear and precise tracking of all obsolescence issues?� If so, please elaborate on the Program and Assessment tool(s). Describe your company�s experience in identifying the alternatives for the unavailability of obsolete materials or components to mitigate obsolescence issues. � Discuss your company�s capability in meeting US Government contracting delivery requirements. Do you have product/s or keep products in stock? This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning and market research purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
