Request for Information (RFI) for converting the Joint Service Vacuum Packed Life Raft (JSVPLR) Overwater Gear Carrier (OWGC) Assembly, PN 1005872-1, to a Loose Pack Valise Configuration. THIS IS A RFI ONLY.� This is Sources Sought (SS)/Request for Information (RFI) for market research. Information is to be used for preliminary planning purposes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.� This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and does not commit the Government to solicit or award a contract now or in the future. Further, the Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Purpose: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command is seeking potential vendors to convert existing Government owned JSVPLR OWGC Assemblies to a Loose Pack Valise Configuration (LPVC).� This repack must be performed by a qualified technician capable of meeting the federal Aviation Association (FAA) Technical Standard Order (TSO) TSO-C72C, stamp the next inspection date in accordance with TO 14S-1-102-21, one man raft procedures.� The finished raft most conform to the following dimensions: 7� x 12� long, weigh not more than 5.4 pounds and the cylinders accessible for removal. ������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� Instructions:� �Product Manager Air Warrior will provide 1,000 JSVPLRs and requires the vendor to convert each to LPVC at a rate of 140 per month beginning 90 days after award, until all conversions are complete.� Request that interested parties for the future competitive procurement provide a written response to this RFI NLT 21 February 2020 Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
