- Description
- This is a non-personal services contract for the maintenance of grounds and vegetation in the Army Family Housing (AFH) and Operation and Maintenance Army (OMA) areas within the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Wiesbaden. The Contractor shall provide scheduled grounds maintenance services that include grass mowing, tree assessment, removing fallen leaves, trash pick-up and removal at playgrounds and barbecue areas, disposal of debris, and cleaning of paved areas. Services on request include trimming of bushes, maintenance of planted and paved areas, storm damage removal, and reseeding of grass. QUESTIONS FOR INTERESTED VENDORS: 1. Do you have any questions about the tasks listed in this PWS? 2. Is the PWS organized logically in a way that is easy to follow and understand? 3. As the tasks are written in the PWS, will it be difficult to track performance for invoices on each Task Order? 4. The brand Compo Baumkraft or equal liquid fertilizer is required.� Do you have a brand other than Compo Baumkraft that meets the requirements below? If so, what is that brand? Required is a stable liquid fertilizer especially for trees with the following ingredients - 6% N total nitrogen (from 6% N carbamide nitrogen) 5% P2O5 water-soluble phoshate 11% K2O water-soluble potassium oxide 0.02% B water-soluble boron 0.03% Cu water-soluble copper* 0.05% Fe iron* 0.02% Mn manganese* 0.003% Zn zinc* * as chelate of EDTA Stability of complexing up to pH 7.5 The micronutrients shall be provided in chelating form so that they can be absorbed easily by the tree roots. 5.
