THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) intends to replace the EVOQUA Water Technologies, LLC, Control panel for a ZIMPRO Environmental Inc. Model F3-198 Hydro Clear Rapid Sand Filter System at the Naval Weapons Station Earle Wastewater Treatment Plant at NWS Earle, Colts Neck, NJ on a SOLE SOURCE basis, but is seeking additional manufactures or vendors that may be able to fulfill this requirement. Salient characteristics:� the control panel must be fully compatible with the ZIMPRO Environment Inc Model F3-198 Hydro Clear Rapid Sand Filter System and must communicate seamlessly with the control logic for the Model F3-198 Hydro Clear Sand Filter System.� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. This is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages total) demonstrating the ability to provide the products with the specifications described above. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Interested Sources are invited to respond to this Source Sought by completing Attachment 1 � Company Information and any Technical Information specific to the required systems and components. The Capabilities Statement Package shall not exceed 5 pages and shall ONLY be submitted electronically to Scott Schulz, scott.c.schulz1@navy.mil and MUST be limited to a 4MB attachment. You are encouraged to request a read receipt or acknowledgement via reply email. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THURSDAY, 14 FEBRUARY 2019 AT 2:00 PM EASTERN TIME. LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
