THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 13.106, the USDA ARS intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Firm Fixed Purchase Order (PO) to RETROGEN, INC,�6645 Nancy Ridge Dr., San Diego,�CA 92111. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� The anticipated period of performance will be from March 1st, 2020 to September 30, 2020 as the base year with four option year periods.� Market research was performed and shown to support the sole source determination.� See attached sole source justification regarding additional information for this determination.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Address questions to Mr. Paige C.
