Description

The National Park Service (NPS) will issue a Prospectus soliciting proposals for the award of a Concession Contract to provide Guided Interpretive Trail Rides and Other Related Services within the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The Prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the Concession Contract. The Director, pursuant to the terms of 36 C.F.R. Part 51, has determined the contract described in this Prospectus is qualified as an outfitter and guide contract; therefore, the Existing Concessioner is a preferred offeror for the new contract. If the Existing Concessioner submits a responsive proposal and that proposal is not selected as the best proposal, the preferred offeror designation allows it to match the terms of the best offer. Notice of Intent to Propose If you plan to submit a proposal in response to this solicitation, you must notify Jennifer Parker, Chief of Commercial Services, via email at Jennifer_Parker@nps.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time on April 3, 2020. The Service will not accept proposals from entities that do not provide notice on or before that date. Proposals Due Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Chief of Commercial Services, National Park Service Regional Office Serving Regions 6, 7, & 8, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80228 by 4:00 p.m. MT on June 4, 2020, in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the Concession Contract. The Prospectus will be available at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm. To be put on a contact list to receive amendments or any additional information specific to the Prospectus, interested parties must provide their contact information (name, email address, and phone number) to Jennifer Parker at the email address�listed above. Information relative to the solicitation will also be posted to the above mentioned website. The contact list already includes the Existing Concessioner.
