Description
A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZOne, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business or Service Disable Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project, please respond in the manner described below. The proposed project is a design-build requirement for the removal and replacement of a single-ply membrane roof and thermal installation at the Land Port of Entry (LPOE), in Oroville, WA. The installation must include a no dollar limit, 20-year, complete system warranty. The roof area is approximately 11,440 SF. Contract duration is anticipated to be 240 calendar days. The estimated range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 238160. Responses should include: Identification and verification of the company�s small business status; Contractors DUNS Number (Contractor�s Unique Identifier Number) and CAGE Code; Documentation from the interested parties� bonding company showing current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits; Description of Experience � Interested construction firms must provide no more than three (3) example projects with either greater than 95 percent completion or projects completed in the past five (5) years where the interested firm served as the prime contractor. Each project description must include the name, title, project role, e-mail address and telephone number of at least one (1) reference. References may be used to verify that the project size, scope, dollar value, percentages and quality of performance. Example projects must be of a similar size and scope. Projects similar in scope to this project include: single-ply roof replacement projects with a no dollar limit, 20-year, complete system warranty. Warranty must include all roof system components. Projects similar in size: projects in excess of 5,000SF. Small Businesses are reminded that under FAR 52.219-14(4), Limitations on Subcontracting applies to this project. At least 25% of this project must be performed by the contract-holder, not including the cost of materials. NOTE: Total submitted package shall not exceed ten (10) pages, single-sided. Please provide only narrative responses � other submissions will not be reviewed. Reponses to this Sources Sought shall be e-mailed to Maribeth.Bonner@gsa.gov. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be used by the Government to make informed and appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must separately respond to any future Solicitation.
