- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, and the small business size standard is $15.0 million. Project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Potential offerors must be registered in Vendor Information Pages (VIP) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/). Potential offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. PLEASE NOTE This project was initially submitted to our office for procurement as a sole source project to a large business. As part of our market research, we are asking industry to review the below information and indicate if SDVOSBs are capable of performing this work. Please review the below information and respond to the questions below. Description of Work The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to install all components necessary to have a fully functioning Building Management System for the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS), Mountain View HR building. The contractor must perform to the standards in this contract. This project shall take no longer than 180 calendar days from the notice to proceed to complete. A DRAFT of the original sole source SOW is attached for your reference. Depending on the responses to this Sources Sought notice, this DRAFT SOW may change.
