Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.� The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Region 1 (New England), is conducting market research for the construction of complete interior renovation in Franklin, VT.� This project is defined as a design/build project that follows the CBP 2018 LPOE Design Standards. GSA intends to solicit to receive competitive design/build fixed-priced proposals from Contractors to provide limited services of a Licensed Architect to provide complete Final Working drawings to include (but not limited to) Architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and Voice Data drawings and the supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and other costs necessary to satisfactorily provide construction services per the GSA issued Design Intent Drawings (DIDs) and SOW.��� This project will renovate the interior of the building only, with the exception of the exterior doors.� A new officer's work area, holding room, interview room, search room, IAFIS processing, LAN room, and new kitchen/breakroom will be implemented.��� The current estimated magnitude of construction is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.� The estimated project duration for the construction is estimated at 180 days. Capability Statements: Interested parties are invited to submit capability statements for market research purposes and acquisition strategy planning.� These can be submitted via email to Stephanie Klein at stephanie.klein@gsa.gov.� Capability statements are due on 02/25/2020 at 2:00 PM EST. At a minimum, capability statements should include: Name of your company, address, point of contact with phone number and email address, DUNS number. Does your company have a current SAM.gov registration? The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.� The Small Business Size Standard is $36.5M.� In addition to the size of your business, please indicate any other socioeconomic designations such as 8(a),Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Women-Owned Business, etc. Company's capability or experience in performing a design build project of this size, scope, complexity and duration in a remote location. Describe your company's bonding capability. If company is/will be part of a joint venture, state the names of joint venture members and their business size(s).� If a joint venture, list a maximum of three (3) projects previously completed or currently working on as a team. This notice does not constitute a solicitation, nor request for any proposal. The capabilities package requested under this Sources Sought Notice is expected to be a short statement regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing expertise and experience in relation to this procurement.� Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities package.� Submission of a capabilities package is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the GSA in tailoring its requirements to be consistent with industry standards. The Government will not reimburse any party for costs incurred for marketing efforts.
