As a reminder, the response time identified in the Solicitation Instruction to offerors is the final authority of when responses are due. _____________________________________________________________________ Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific would like to announce that there will be an Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium Quarterly Industry Day held at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego CA, on Thursday, 5 March 2020, with check in starting at 0800. The event will include briefings on the IWRP, Consortium Operations, presentation of Technical Briefs, one-on-one break-out sessions, and a technical collaboration exchange. Technical briefs presented during the IWRP Consortium Quarterly Industry Day will include the below four (4) topics. It is anticipated that the topics will be the basis of upcoming Request for Prototype Projects (RPP) to IWRP Consortium Members. This is not a Request for Prototype Projects, but for planning purposes only. A project will not be awarded from this announcement. In order to obtain more information regarding the below projects, you must be a member of the IWRP Consortium. For more information on becoming an IWRP consortium member, please visit https://www.theiwrp.org. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the IWRP Consortium, and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. The Government anticipates four (4) Requests for Prototype Projects (RPPs) for white papers and full proposals to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. RPP topics will include a technical brief and one-on-one break-out sessions. The RPP topics consist of the following: 1. 20-PAC-0118 Large-Scale 3D Printing Robotic System: The prototype objective is a large-scale 3D printing robotic system for vertical, horizontal, and ad hoc construction projects. The envisioned solution should be a high-precision robotic arm based system coupled with material delivery system. The ability to 3D print structures that are water tight and float is essential. 2. 20-PAC-0120 Digital Manufacturing Data Vault (DMDV): The intended prototype provides the digital thread that allows for Fleet users and Program Office personnel to share technical data across the Marine Corps enterprise, with the other services, and with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). 3. 20-PAC-0121 Navy VLF/LF Receiver: The prototype objective is a new open architecture VLF/LF receiver using the latest COTS technology. 4. 20-LANT-0125 FFG(X) GFE IMS Software Application: The prototype intent is a software application for management of government furnished equipment (GFE) as related to FFG(X) integrated master schedule (IMS). Additional capability for budget decision support is desired. The Government anticipates three (3) Pre-Solicitation Collaborations (PSCs) which may lead to future RPPs to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. PSC topics will include a technical brief and one-on-one break-out sessions. The PSC topics consist of the following: 1. Navy ECDIS Display Table: The prototype design objective is to provide the user with a navigational situational awareness tool capable of displaying multiple digital video feeds simultaneously from multiple sources, including a capability for multiple users to interact with the video feeds by finger touch. 2. C-Band Radio and Cryptography Technology: The government is seeking prototypes for advanced C-Band radio and cryptography technologies to enable Assured Command and Control and Integrated Fires technologies fielded on ships, aircraft, and land mobile units. 3. IWRP Basket Process Improvement: The prototype objective is an online tool for government users to search and discover IWRP proposals that are responsive to their program or project, and ""pull"" that proposal in order to fund the proposal and make an award to build the proposed prototype. The Government anticipates six (6) Technical Collaboration Exchanges (TCEs) which may lead to future RPPs to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. TCE topics will include a technical brief and round-table discussions for questions and answers. The TCE topics consist of the following: 1. DevSecOps Software Delivery 2. Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) 3. Digital Thread Additive Manufacturing (DTAM) 4. Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) 5. 5G Wireless Mobile Communications 6. Artificial Intelligence for Recruiting Additional information on IWRP or to become a member, please refer to the following link: https://www.theiwrp.org
