- BLM-CO-SWD - UDO Field Office - Pre-Solicitation Announcement - Tabeguache Creek Cultural Resources Inventory - Class III - 70.3 Acres The BLM will soon solicit bids for the requirement described below. This is only a pre-solicitation announcement to generate interest and to determine further set asides (competitive 8a, HUBZone, ect) based upon your responses. Note to Bidders: This project is currently unfunded, but we expect it to be soon. However, no award will be made until funding is available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. Any costs incurred prior to award are totally at the risk of the contractor. Description: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) - Uncompahgre Field Office (UFO) is requesting a Class III, intensive pedestrian cultural resources inventory of approximately 70.3 acres of land in Montrose County, Colorado, approximately 12 air-miles north of the town of Nucla, Co. Cultural inventory is needed in advance of a proposed 14,300 linear-foot fence to divide two grazing allotments located on both BLM (9,415 lf) and Forest Service (4,885 lf) administered lands. The inventory area consists of 2 separate polygons for a total of approximately 70.3 acres. One polygon resides on USFS surface (24.6 ac) the remaining polygon (45.7 ac) is BLM. Basic Contracting Requirements: 1. Active Registration - www.sam.gov 2. Invoicing and Payment - www.ipp.gov 3. FAR Part 12 - Commercial Item 4. FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures 5. Service Contract Act Wages for Montrose County, CO 6. Total Small Business Set Aside for NAICS 541620 - Size Standard $16.5M 7. Award Basis - Low Price Technically Acceptable - to be technically acceptable, the vendor will need to be experienced, certified and permitted by the BLM Colorado State Office for cultural resource inventories in the applicable area. Past performance is always a consideration as well.
