Description
The general description below is given to indicate the approximate scope of this project only. It does not limit the work required under the project drawings and specifications. The project location is Building 145, Rooms 109-111 at Pease Air National Guard Base, Newington, New Hampshire. The project scope of work is defined as follows: 1. Replace three sets of double doors/frames, as follows: � Door A (Room 111) will require complete door replacement (replace doors, frame and hardware). � Door B (Room 110) will require frame replacement, only (reuse doors and hardware). � Door C (Room 109) will require complete door replacement (replace doors, frame and hardware) **Please see Attachment A for specific details regarding the door and door frames. NOTE: If door locksets are reusable please reuse; if not, the Contractor shall prepare the door, as noted in this PWS and coordinate replacement of proper key/core control of the lockset with the Base Facility Manager, SMSgt Wolfgram. For cost proposal purposes, the Contractor shall assume door locksets will be replacement by the base and coordination will be required. NOTE: Door replacement must be conducted in accordance with UFC 3-600-01, which defines current fire protection standards for DOD facilities. 2. Once the frame and doors are replaced, made plumb and squared, paint them with two coats of an interior/exterior, water-based, corrosion resistant acrylic coating of the color �Totally Tan�, in accordance with manufacturer�s instructions. 3. Repair holes in drywall. There are a total of 14 holes that need to be addressed, the largest of which are approximately 3' x 2', 4' x 2', and 3' x 1'. Where holes are in proximity, they may be combined into a single repair if feasible for efficiency. The wall board thickness is 5/8�. The Contractor shall conduct drywall repairs following standard protocols (i.e. tape, mud, taper and sand smooth). 4. Repaint the entire wall with a white prime coat for every wall requiring drywall repair. Pease ANGB will repaint the walls with installation specific paint once all repairs are completed. 5. Replace total wall length of rubber cove base (dark brown) to match existing for all walls requiring drywall repair. Assume no more than 295 feet of 4-inch rubber base cove is required. NOTE: All work must be conducted in accordance with UFC 1-200-01 General Building Requirements (which incorporates IBC 2015 with modifications). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is�238390 with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
