- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information contained in this notice. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through January 15, 2020 Federal Acquisition Regulation revision, which includes the consolidation of all Federal Acquisition Circulars through 2020-04. This announcement constitutes the formal Request for Quotes (RFQ) and NO additional written solicitation will be issued.� � � DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS - FEBRUARY 7, 2020 AT 5:OO PM VIA EMAIL TO cynthia.blackmon@noaa.gov. Responses due via email to:� cynthia.blackmon@noaa.gov. ***NOAA'S RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED REGARDING RFQ NEEB3000-20-00278 ARE ATTACHED HERETO** The Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) is a Government owned Contractor operated Satellite Data Ground Station operating 24/7/365 at 1300 Eisele Road,�Fairbanks, Alaska.� The station is protected by multiple fire suppression system types, with the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and Switch gear rooms in the powerhouse protected by an Ansul Inergen clean agent system.� This system is comprised of 4 zones; a primary and secondary for the UPS room; and the same for the Generator Switch gear room.� The UPS�recently experienced a catastrophic failure which resulted in the capacitors and rectifier overheating and triggering a release of agent in the primary section of the UPS room portion of the system.� This incident released agent from a total of 18 each, 436 CU FT capacity vessels. The� Contractor shall be required to provide all services and supply all materials necessary to refill/replace the 18 vessels described above with the current service certification dates new or within one year of contract award.� The pricing shall be inclusive of delivery and installation on-site at the above noted address. The Contractor shall notify the Facilites Manager at least 24 hours in advance with the name of the technican performing the work on-site.� Work hours are Monday - Friday, 0700 - 1500 hours.� Site inspection and acceptance shall be perforemed during the above referenced hours. Delivery Schedule:� Within 30 days after contract award. Upon request, the Contract Officer will make their full text available. The offeror is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the offeror and submitted with its proposal. In lieu of submitting the full text provisions, the offeror may identify the provision by paragraph identifier and provide the appropriate information with its proposal. Vendor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, executive orders, rules and regulations applicable to its performance under this order.
