- Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. VHA Reginal Procurement Office (RPO) 2 is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing Teleplex Pilling Laser Laryngoscopes. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 339112. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax) and must be received no later than February 25, 2020 @ 10AM EST. Email: LATEISHA.ROBINSON@VA.GOV and Fax: 718-741-4722. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement. Please review the attached Statement of Work attached herein. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 339112. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. STATEMENT OF WORK Laser Laryngoscopes and Forceps Background/Scope: The VAMC Medical Department wishes to purchase three (3) Teleflex Pilling Laser Laryngoscopes (small, medium and large). This equipment helps surgeons focus on critical anatomy during procedures in a wider range of patient anatomies and is designed for patients with a greater distance between their teeth and vocal cords. Additionally, the Northport VAMC wishes to purchase Teleflex Feder-Ossoff Micro-Laryngeal grasping and cup biopsy forceps which have aggressive serrated jaws for better holding and a suction channel with proximal fitting for smoke evacuation and improved visibility during laser procedures. Specifications: Grasping forceps: serrated jaws, 1.1 mm wide tapering to 0.6 mm, 4 mm long and a working length of 23cm, straight and angles up. Biopsy cup forceps: 1 mm jaw with a working length of 23 cm, straight and angled up. Pilling Low-Profile Dedo-Style Laser Laryngoscope: Overall length of 178 mm, minimum I.D. of 10.7 mm, nominal proximal dimensions of 19.0 mm x 19.0 mm, max O.D. 25.5 mm. Garrett-Ossoff-Pilling Adult - Extra-Long: Overall length of 188 mm, minimal distal opening of 8.0 mm, mouth proximal dimensions of 25.0 mm x 15.0 mm. Ossoff-Pilling Adult Female: Overall length of 168 mm, minimal distal opening of 7.0 mm, mouth proximal dimensions of 19.0 mm x 15.0 mm.
