- Description
- MLGS-FT Intent to Sole Source. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Lockheed Martin Corporation for repairs and enhancement support planning of a proprietary gravity gradiometer system designed and built by Lockheed Martin Corporation. The contract will result in a complete diagnosis of the system failures and sources of performance shortfalls; the preparation of a technical plan and cost estimate to remedy system failures; and the preparation of a technical plan and cost estimate to address performance shortfalls with respect to original system threshold and objective specifications. The contract period of performance is estimated at less than 12 months and valued less than the simplified acquisition threshold. Responsible sources may submit capability statements that demonstrate their ability to perform, which will be considered by the agency. END
