- The United States Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/WNKF), Joint Service Systems Management Office (JSSMO) Positioning, Navigation & Timing Office, Robins Air Force Base, GA, is conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide market research information on supplying Miniaturized Airborne Global Positioning System Receiver (MAGR) 2K Mount products as follows: MAGR 2K Mount, Unisolated NSN: 5975-01-387-6762 Part Number: 6450726-1 or equivalent MAGR 2K Mount, Isolated NSN: 5975-01-386-6836 Part Number: 6450725-1�or equivalent� The Government owns the MAGR-2K ""Production Build"" mount drawing/specifications. All contractors interested shall furnish material, support equipment, tools, test equipment and services. The contractor shall be responsible for providing, maintaining and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor's facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts. All contractors/institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.��������������������������������� INSTRUCTIONS: 1. The paragraph below contains a description of the MAGR 2K Mount requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey.� The Survey enables Contractors to describe their company�s capability.�� 2. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation as detailed in the attached Contractor Capability Survey that supports your company�s capability in meeting these requirements.� Failure to provide documentation may result in the Government being unable to adequately assess details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement ( i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.). 3. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research.� Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged.�� 4. Additional Information: Current Department of Defense (DoD) MAGR 2K program supports multiple aircraft platforms with the MAGR 2K receiver. The required mount provides for the capability of providing United States and Foreign customers with the supply necessary for mounting of the receiver onto the customer platform. This�Sources Sought�seeks to survey the market for the aforementioned supply. Interested parties are to:� Provide information that demonstrates knowledge of and experience with supply of the required Mounts. �Provide Historical Sales information The intent of this Sources Sought is to request documentation from Industry for archives and to inform future acquisition strategy development. The government will evaluate provided information to ascertain potential market capacity to:� 1) Provide supply capability and identify lead times and product certification; 2) Estimate potential acquisition program development and production costs and schedules; and 3) Inform potential acquisition and contracting strategies.� THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.� Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey is voluntary and may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards.� The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.� Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, AWARDED SOLE SOURCE TO ONE OR MORE SELECTED CONTRACTOR(S), OR NO AWARD MAY BE MADE. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.� SPECIAL NOTICE. Respondent�s attention is directed to the fact that contractor consultants and advisors to the Government will review and provide support during review and evaluation of submittals.� When appropriate, non-government advisors may be used to objectively review a particular functional area and provide comments and recommendations to the Government.� All advisors shall comply with procurement integrity laws and shall sign Non-Disclosure and Rules of Conduct/Conflict of Interest statements.� The Government shall take into consideration requirements for avoiding conflicts of interest and ensure advisors comply with safeguarding proprietary data.� Submissions in response to this Sources Sought constitute approval to release the submittal to necessary Government Support Contractors.
