- Request for Interested Manufacturers: NSN 599-01-365-4599EW��Amplifier/Detector, Log Video (Request for Interested Manufacturers) FROM:� (Jared Pitts/408 SCMS/GULB) TO:� �� DLA Aviation Procurement Operations at Warner Robins (SPRWA1) LOCATION:� Robins AFB, GA 31098-1813 FBO Post Title:� Request for Interested Manufacturers 5996013654599EW (Amplifier/Detector, Log Video) SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the Amplifier/Detector, Log Video, NSN 5996013654599EW PN 330404-101.� ITEM DESCRIPTION: The AN/ALR-56M is a system used on the F-16 and C-130J. The Video Amplifier (5996013654599EW) is a component of the Super heterodyne Controller LRU 6 which receives the baseband CVR signals and depending upon the power apply the resultant (video) output to LOG/SPU Board Assembly A10A4 of the video processor section as SPULOG (video). IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION: The original equipment manufacturer for these items are AKON (CAGE 5V234), which maintains its configuration by part number and software version. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. AKON Incorporated is the only known source with the data, skills, and equipment necessary to successfully provide the services required by the Government. INTEREST: The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract for the manufacture of the Backplane Assembly and Video Amplifier in support of the AN/ALR-56M RWR program.� Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 5 March 2020 by emailing jared.pitts.5@us.af.mil and christine.tomlinson@us.af.mil. �The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
