- NOTICE TYPE:���������� Sources Sought Notice Number ID:����������������� FY20-15 Title:��������������������������� Landing Helicopter, Dock (LHD) Class Ship � Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs) Date:�������������������������� February 19, 2020 PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, to provide engineering and design support services on LHD Class platforms, to include completion of approximately 2100 to 2400 SIDs. This effort is to seek out qualified SMALL BUSINESS sources capable of providing services required by the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). All interested parties are encouraged to respond.� The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330.� The Government anticipates issuing a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Level of Effort (LOE) type contract for the required services. The solicitation number associated with this notice is N42158-20-R-N001. The solicitation has not been released to industry. The Government is interested in receiving responses from all qualified sources capable of providing the services. Large and small companies that have experience with these services are encouraged to respond to this notice by 24 February 2020 at 2:00 PM EST. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. �The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. The following key information is requested:� Company name, address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, point of contact (name, phone# and e-mail). If your company is a small business, please identify the socioeconomic status. Have you performed the same or similar work in the past? Explanation of the company's ability to perform greater than 50% of the efforts required. This statement shall not reiterate or duplicate the language set forth in this notice or language from the attached DRAFT PWS. Your CAPABILITIES STATEMENT shall demonstrate your company�s ability to perform these critical tasks. Additionally, if significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Interested sources should send requested information in a single Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) email attachment to michael.abner@navy.mil and denise.c.mason3@navy.mil, with a page limitation of 10 pages no later than 24 February 2020 @2:00pm EST.
