Description

This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to ADVANTOR SYSTEMS CORPORATION. The requirement to procure and install an independent Advantor SFXi Alarm System and additional alarm equipment to ensure the area is alarmed and meets the requirements of the ICD 705 and Technical Specification for SCIF Construction including Access Control System (ACS). The IDS will be monitored by the Advantor Suite Network (ASN) within Building 1614 and the ASN at the 66th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). The IDS/ACS will be stand-alone and remain internal to Building 1614, Area 1B0248. The proposed contract action is to procure the specific service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may submit unclassified responses to this notice by email to Ms. Jessica Mulligan at jessica.mulligan@us.af.mil and Mr. Derrick Barnes at derrick.barnes.7@us.af.mil no later than 24 February 2020 @ 1200 EST. No other communications will be entertained.� This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB); The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information to be solicited. Although �proposal� and �offeror� are used in this Presolicitation, your responses will be treated as information only.� It shall not be used as a proposal. We anticipate a sole source procurement IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304.
