- 36C25520Q0227 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Draeger, Inc., 3135 Quarry Road, Telford, PA 18969. For this requirement, Draeger, Inc. will provide: All software and hardware maintenance services for the Draeger Inc. Innovian Anesthesia Record Keeping (ARK) System and Innovian Anesthesia systems already in service within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 15. This maintenance and support shall include all scheduled preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, server and work station updates and replacements, software updates and technical support. The Contractor shall ensure that the ARK operates in an efficient and productive manner, as intended and designed. The places of performance for this requirement are the VA Medical Centers located in the following eight locations: St Louis, MO; Columbia, MO; Kansas City, MO; Topeka, KS; Leavenworth, KS; Wichita, KS; Marion, IL and Evansville, IN The NAICS code is 541519 Other Computer Related Services, with a size standard of $30 Million, with a PSC of J070 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment - Automatic Data Processing Equipment (Including Firmware), Software, Supplies and Support Equipment. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a Base Year period of performance of April 5, 2020 through April 4, 2021 and 4-Option Years. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by emailing a response NLT March 4, 2020 at 4:00 PM CST. The response must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if after March 4, 2020, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Siemens Industry, Inc. for this requirement. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes.
