- This statement provides notice that the government anticipates awarding a primarily Firm-Fixed Price contract for the renewal of the Harris Jagwire software licenses. The Contractor shall provide software maintenance, which includes optimization, error correction, deletion of discarded features and enhancement of existing features. The proposed contract action is for software maintenance for which the Government intends to negotiate and award a one-year sole source contract to Harris Geospatial Solutions, Inc. (CAGE: 0SHY3), 385 Interlocken Crescent Ste 300, Broomfield, CO, 80021-3562.� This is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1�(b) Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).� All responsible sources may submit a capability statement of proposal, which shall be reviewed by the U.S. Government. �A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract action will be based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All potential offerors should contact the Contracting Specialist/Procuring Contracting Officer identified above for additional information, questions, and/or concerns. This solicitation is expected to be released on 19 February 2020 with a response due no later than 7�days after the issuance of the solicitation. The period of performance for this contract will consist of one (1) 12-month basic period. The place of performance will be specified in the forthcoming solicitation.
