- The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever AFB, Colorado is publicizing this sources sought in order to gauge interest from firms for submitting proposals for our upcoming SABER IDIQ contract. No solicitation is being issued currently.� No proposal or bid is being requested at this time.� This sources sought in no way commits the Government to solicit this requirement for award.� Responses will not be considered for award unless a formal solicitation is made and the instructions to offerors are followed under the formal solicitation.� The United States Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by any parties responding to this notice.� Any potential forthcoming solicitation will be made separately from this notice.� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) for any future action in response to this sources sought. A Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (herein known as SABER), is required in support of the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron.� During the contract period, construction tasks will be identified to the Contractor who then must furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to design, manage and accomplish the project in accordance with applicable U.S. Air Force, City, County, State, and Federal�Standards as applicable.� Individual�task orders�will vary in size and will include tasks in a variety of trades such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, interior and exterior electrical, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, welding, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), asbestos removal, etc. at Schriever AFB. In-house design capability or ready access to design capability is necessary for projects under SABER. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested�sources within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220. The basic contract is anticipated as a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity type contract and will include a wide variety of individual construction task orders awarded on a Firm Fixed Price basis. It is anticipated that contracts will be awarded for a term consisting of one base year plus four, one-year option periods. Task orders written against SABER contracts will be firm fixed price and are anticipated to range between $2,000 and $750,000.00. The overall program value is estimated at $9,500,000.00 over a five-year ordering period. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at such time when proposals are due (http://www.beta.sam.gov/).� At this time the Government is contemplating a potential set aside to either Total Small Business or any specific�small business socioeconomic status, based on the responses received from this sources sought and information obtained during market research,�along with coordination with the SBA. Name, address, email address, and phone number; 2. CAGE/DUNS Number; 3. Socioeconomic Status(es); 4. �A list (not to exceed 5) of SABER or similar contracts (i.e. IDIQ) your firm currently holds or has completed within the past three years*; and 5. Any estimating software/material (price books) your company employs/has experience with�to develop proposals for construction projects (e.g. E4Clicks, RS Means, eGordian) *The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, description, estimated yearly value, performance dates, and Government point(s) of contact (Contracting Officer and QAPC/Inspector) with phone numbers and email.
