- The purpose of this�Request for Information�update�is to incorporate changes to Attachment #1.� A redlined version is attached noting what information has been updated.� In addition, the submission deadline has been extended to 16 MARCH 2020, at 1200HRS EST. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Orginal Posting PMS 505, Fleet Introduction and Sustainment, is responsible for life-cycle management for Littoral Combat Ships in the US Navy.� In-service life cycle support of these ships comprises: integrated planning, programming, and execution of the maintenance, repair and fleet modernization program, including the provision of all technical and logistics support required to maintain, repair, modernize, and improve performance of these ships. The Navy contemplates the following: The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is considering rolling admissions per the terms and conditions of previously issued solicitation N00024-18-R-4325. The purpose of this rolling admission is to expand the contractor base of ship yards capable of performing the required maintenance, repair, and modernization of LCS Class Ships by awarding additional IDIQ MAC prime contracts. NAVSEA may release a solicitation in the FY20Q4 timeframe for rolling admissions to the current� LCS ship repair Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contracts (MACs).� �The ship repair Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contracts (MACs) are supply contracts with incidental service elements. The supply being procured is the repaired, mission-ready vessel, which is returned to service within the Fleet. An offeror may propose to be MAC I contract holder.� IDIQ MAC I HOLDERS (�BIG MAC�) have the capability of performing all work both CONUS and OCONUS (Ref Below Capabilities 1 - 5), and must have a certified drydock. The work will be for LCS ships homeported in San Diego, CA.� Provide all required facilities and supporting services and equipment (except those furnished by the Government under express provisions of this contract or subsequent Delivery Orders (DOs)) in the San Diego, CA homeport.� See Attachment #1 for work scope information and RFI submission requirements.� RFI Responses are requested by 9 MARCH 2020 at 1200HRS EST.�� Responses to this notice should not exceed fifteen (15) single-sided (Times New Roman, minimum 12 point font) pages and should include a cover letter (not counted towards the 15-page limit) with the following information. Submissions shall be in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat (5MB limit) and shall be sent electronically to: Erica Fetter, Contracting Officer, at erica.fetter@navy.mil and Brian Romano, Contract Specialist, at brian.romano2@navy.mil.� Information provided shall be treated as Business Sensitive or confidential to the responder, exempt from public release under the Freedom of Information Act. All information shall be provided free of charge to the Government. NAVSEA may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements set forth in the Announcement. This sources sought announcement is released in accordance with FAR 15.201. This sources sought announcement is not a request for proposal. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to gather information from the market place. Information provided in response to this sources sought announcement will not be considered an Offer by the responding contractor and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
