Description

The United States Attorney�s Office for the Eastern District of Washington (USAO-EDWA), intends to solicit and award a Purchase Order to Maike & Associates, 213 Elwha Bluff, Port Angeles, WA 98363, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The USAO-EDWA anticipates award of a Purchase Order, on a sole source basis, to Maike & Associates for research partner services for their Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) program.� Maike & Associates is a research group with specialized knowledge of Eastern District of Washington and the United States Attorney�s Office�s PSN program.� Maike & Associates will provide USAO-EDWA with analyzation of crime data and trends in order to develop targeted enforcement strategies for the district�s PSN efforts and to measure effectiveness of the program. The period of performance is anticipated as twelve months with four, one year�option periods, with each year consisting of 320 hours of performance. USAO-EDWA completed market research by researching companies and conferring with other USAOs with similar needs for their PSN program; however, the USAO was unable to locate any other research companies with the required knowledge of the PSN program and the specialized knowledge of the Eastern District of Washington area. �� This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this solicitation is for informational purposes only. However, any information received within five days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information in response to this notice may be sent to Amy Rohrs, Contracting Officer, at Amy.Rohrs@usdoj.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Telephonic questions or requests are strongly discouraged.
