- The subject requirement is for the acquisition on one (1) NSN.� The NSN: 2815-005672502, Exhaust Manifold, is being bought in accordance with a code and part number of the approved sources: General Dynamics Land Systems (56161), P/N: 10511347, Federal Mogul (7U177), P/N: FP5135016, and MTU America, Inc. (72582), P/N: 05135016.� This Request for Quotes in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items.� It will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a three-year base period and two (2) one-year option periods. Options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. �The total duration of the base period plus option periods shall not exceed five (5) years.� Items may ship to various stock depots of CONUS and OCONUS locations.� Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the Request for Proposal (RFP).� Freight on Board (FOB) origin is required (in accordance with the First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program). Inspection and Acceptance points will be listed on the solicitation.� The acquisitions is unrestricted. The NAICS is 333618, Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. on its issue date of �03/02/20. �Hard copies of this solicitation are not available.
