- Updated 2/25/2020 - The projected second industry day that was tentatively schedule for the 2nd Quarter of Calendar Year 2020 as shown in the Power Point Presentation posted on 12 December 2019 is being delayed. The second industry day is now expected to be held 3rd Quarter of Calendar Year 2020. Once a firm date is selected, additional details �will be posted on Beta.Sam.Gov. Posting Power Point Presentation from 12 Dec 2019 Any questions or comments are due by 20 December 2019 to Contract Specialist MOOSE CREEK DAM SAFETY MODIFICATION INDUSTRY DAY NOTICE 12 DECEMBER 2019 INTRODUCTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, will be holding an Industry Day on 12 December 2019 in Anchorage, Alaska. The purpose of the Industry Day is to receive capability briefings from interested prime contractors/offerors and receive feedback based on the attached Industry Day Questions for the Moose Creek Dam Safety Modification requirement at the Chena River Flood Control Project, North Pole, Alaska. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The disclosure of magnitude for this project is between $100,000,000.00 and $250,000,000.00. The Industry Day will be held at the Alaska Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) Anchorage Center, 1901 Bragaw St, Anchorage AK 99508-3471 in the Basement Student Lounge Area. Facility doors open at 8:00 AM Alaska Standard Time (AST) and a short Government briefing will take place at 8:30 AM AST. Interested prime contractors are requested to review the Mix Design Report and Moose Creek Dam Safety Modification Industry Day Questions prior to the Industry Day. The Government plans to use this document as a guide during the one-on-one contractor capability briefings which will be provided separately and privately to the Government by individual contractor(s). A schedule for capabilities briefings will be created upon receipt of registration of all interested parties (briefing time will depend on the number of submissions). INTERESTED PARTIES: Registration is required in order to attend the Industry Day. One-on-one capability briefing times are being reserved for interested prime contractors. Walk-ins will not be permitted. If requested attendance exceeds the capacity of the conference room, it may be necessary to stagger the mass briefing to contractor attendees prior to one-on-one capability briefings.
