Description
Note: This is a resolicitation of the previous solicitation FA527020QB014. In an effort to promote fair competition and allow each firm the opportunity to review the submitted questions and submit a responsive quote, the solicitation numbered FA527020QB014 has been resolicited as RFQ number FA527020QB022. The requirement remains the same and the difference between the two is the response date and the inclusion of submitted questions. Please note: if you had previously submitted a quote under the previous solicitation and the new information does not affect your price, you may return your original quote in response to this email with a �no changes� comment. The government reserves the right whether or not to amend, extend, or answer additional questions. Offers are currently due no later than 13 March 2020 at 3:00 PM Japan Standard time. Please review the below description. Offerors shall comply with all instructions within the solicitation and its attachments. CLIN 0001, Trailers - Jack: The trailers will need to have the following characteristics: a minimum of 4000 pounds of payload capacity, hydraulic operated, lunette pintle hitch, built-in ramp, controllable descent rate, battery operated and solar panels for recharging, tie downs to secure aircraft jacks with D-rings, Safety chains for transportation security, tow tongue jack, 4000lbs cargo winch with a remote control for safe operations, steel construction, and hydraulic suspensions. CLIN 0002, Trailers - Low Riser: The low riser trailer needs to have the following: a minimum of 6000 pounds of payload capacity, 2.5 to 1 payload to trailer ratio, hydraulic operated, adjustable hitch-ball 2-5/16� diameter, built-in ramp, controllable descent, built-in tie down rails, electric/hydraulic operated pump, tongue jack, D-rings for tie downs, breakaway kit and chains, electric brakes, LED lights, Remotely controlled with remote, HSLA steel constructed, hydraulic and rubber suspension, 4000lbs cargo winch with remote, and pintle hitch with 2-1/2� lunettes. Trailers shall not be classified as vehicles in accordance with 49 CFR Part 571, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and must be classified as an Other Government Motor Vehicle Conveyance (OGMVC). Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under� this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
