Description
This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Regional Contracting Office MCB Quantico, VA intends to sole source contract to Spectrum Knowledge, Incorporation 13337 South Street #700 Cerritos, CA 90703 The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" The 2020 USMC Asian Pacific Professionals (APA) Leadership Seminar is an opportunity to connect, share, and educate APA leaders in the Marine Corps. The theme for this leadership seminar is CHARISMA & CONTEXT - Leverage Your Surroundings, Personal Brand & Presence. This seminar will help APAs in the Marine Corps with leadership tools that will boost their charisma and wield their context for optimal success.The objective of the 2020 USMC APA Professionals Leadership Seminar is to allow attendees in the Marine Corps to connect, share, and educate with one another. Attendees create valuable connections that lead to meaningful relationships to build a community where they are stronger and more resilient together. Attendees share personal stories and insights for professional growth and collaborate on ideas to solve problems together. Attendees educate on impactful leadership, career development, and professional opportunities both inside and outside the DoD. The end state is to build a community to help Marines become competitive for promotion, discover career opportunities, and contribute to the advancement of the APA community in the Marine Corps. The anticipated contract is for a period of performance from�12-13 March 2020.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to saul.becerra@usmc.mil no later than 5 March 2020, 01:00 p.m. Eastern Time.� Late responses will not be considered.
