This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-03. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561720, with a small business size standard of $19.5M. The Network Contracting Office 17, 2002 Scott Blvd., Temple, TX 76504 is seeking to procure cleaning services for the clinical addition atrium at VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS). All interested companies shall provide a quotation for the following: Title of Project: Clean Clinical Addition Atrium Background: The atriums in the Clinical Addition have surfaces that require special high access equipment and training to reach for cleaning. Additionally, some painted areas and wood trimmed areas on the 3rd and 5th floor ledges have become water-stained or faded and require painting or treatment of the wood surfaces. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision and all other resources required to: Repair and paint to match water damaged areas in ceiling above Clinic 1 Waiting Area. Remove, sandblast and paint to match or replace thirty (30) HVAC grills at top of atrium. Clean all sprinkler heads in atrium ceiling above 1st floor, 3rd floor, and 5th floor landings and main atrium ceiling. Wash atrium side of atrium wall glass and frame. Paint fifth floor ledges on atrium side to match, VA to provide color. Stain or re-finish third floor planter wood edges on atrium side. Clean glass, both sides on third and fifth floors and dust and/or vacuum adjacent ledges. Clean or replace with same, artificial plants in eight (8) third floor planters. Dust and/or vacuum base ledges of three skylights in Main and East Atriums. Wash inside and outside of elevator shaft glass and wipe frames. Period of Performance: The period of performance and contract completion is sixty (60) days after the notice to proceed (NTP). Hours: Work to be accomplished after normal business hours. The following is a list of U.S. Government holidays. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, the proceeding Friday is observed as the holiday; if the holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is observed as the holiday and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a national holiday. Requirements: The contractor shall provide equipment and trained personnel to operate equipment to reach all areas of the six (6) story atrium and maneuver around fixed furniture. The Contractor shall describe two projects the firm has completed within the past three years, which are equal to or similar in scope of this requirement. The Contractor shall include points of contact, titles, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses. The contractor shall supply all labor, expertise, parts, and preventative maintenance services. The Contractor shall be responsible for employing technically qualified personnel to perform the work specified in this Statement of Work.
