**ATTENTION** ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHALL BE DIRECTED TO: EDDIE GORDON, CONTRACT SPECIALIST AT EMAIL: EDDIE.L.GORDON6.CIV@MAIL.MIL. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The Army Contracting Command � Redstone Arsenal, ACC-RSA proposes to issue solicitation number W58RGZ-16-D-0029. This requirement is for the extension of the current production Contract for purchase of components for the PM Air Warrior Heads up Display and Tracking System (HDTS) and support equipment. The HDTS components include the Advanced Magnetic Transmitting Unit (AMTU), Boresight Reticle Unit - standard (BRU-S), BRU-mirror (M), Helmet Tracker Kit (HTK), Improved Magnetic Receiving Unit IMRU) Sensor Assembly, and Mini-Converter Control Unit (MCCU). The support equipment is the Fast Characterization Tool (FACT) used for installation of the BRUs and tracking components in the aircraft. The estimated period of performance for this effort is for (3) additional years on the Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite- Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The requirement is planned as a sole source buy to Elbit Fort Worth (EFW), Inc. (CAGE Code 0WEC9), a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems of America, under the authority of 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This synopsis closes on 18 March 2020 at 2:00PM CST. The closing date annotated is a firm date and may not be adjusted however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Telephone requests for copies of the solicitation will not be accepted. All requests must be in writing. Requests can be sent to Ed Gordon, eddie.l.gordon6.civ@mail.mil. Offerors are encouraged to contact Elbit, Inc. Fort Worth, Inc. for subcontracting opportunities on this effort. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source; however, if you are interested in this requirement you may identify your interest by submitting a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for additional competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after the date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to further compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
