- Description
- HC-130H RETARDANT DELIVERY SYSTEM (RDS) This acquisition includes design, engineering, development, manufacture, and install of a minimum 4,000 gallon RDS for seven (7) HC-130H aircraft. There shall be a basic contract with one (1) trial kit/install, one (1) verification kit/install, five (5) production kits/installs along with selective spares and a Maintenance and Inspection Plan. This acquisition was awarded competitively and included Cost Reimbursement Fixed Fee CLINS for OEm support due to the unknown nature of the design. Cost Reimbursement (no fee) CLINS were included for fuel and travel as the amount needed is unknown, but there is little risk to the contractor involved.
