Description

This Sources Sought notice is a request for information to be used for preliminary market research and planning purposes only. The Government is seeking responses from contractors interested and capable of performing the required services. No proposals are being requested or accepted. This is NOT a solicitation and no contract will be awarded from this notice. A solicitation for quotes will come at a later date. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of interested parties including Small Business (SB); 8A; Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone); Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOB); and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB). The Mt Hood National Forest expects to solicit for a maintenance service agreement for 9 Konica Minolta Bizhub C645E machines. In order to determine the extent of industry interest and capability, interested parties must submit interest via email to: �Mindy Hickman mindy.hickman@usda.gov . �Responses are due by 1600 March 13, 2020. The responses shall include: 1) Name of Firm, Point of Contact, Mailing Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS number. 2) Identification of the appropriate small business eligibility as determined by the NAICS size standards, the Small Business Administration and registration in System for Award Management (SAM), including SB, HUBZone, 8A, SDVOB and WOSB. 3) A brief description of experience providing this type of services including dollar value of previous work performed within the past three years. Service will be expected within 6 hours of call. A certified Konica Minolta mechanic will be required. The work includes but is not limited to furnishing labor, equipment as necessary to repair, supervision, transportation, operating supplies (toner), and all incidentals necessary to provide copier maintenance. Prospective awardees Must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be awarded a Federal Contract. Authority for this procurement is FAR 13.106(b) for purchases not exceeding simplified acquisition threshold.
