Description
PAYETTE RIVER STREAM GAUGING THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, District 9 has a requirement for rating services for the streamflow measurements as needed to define low, medium, and high flows during irrigation and non-irrigations water seasons and to maintain accurate water records for the Payette River System in the Boise Project in Idaho. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541990 and the size standard is $16.5 million. The work consists of flow measurements, sensor calibration, site maintenance, and streamflow records on existing equipment. The Government intends to procure specialized services on a single-source basis, in accordance with 41.U.S.C.1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501, Only One Responsible Source using Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The entity to which the Government intends to award is Idaho Power Company. The initial period of performance shall be approximately April 7, 2020 through September 3, 2020, with three 1-year options with an end period of performance of September 3, 2024. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and no solicitation will be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and/or provide a capability statement to Ms. Melissa Landreth, Contract Specialist, by email at mlandreth@usbr.gov. All capability statements received within 10 days after the publication of this announcement will be considered by Reclamation. A determination by Reclamation not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Reclamation. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
